Stop Smoking Weed! Risks Explained.

I have been smoking marijuana for the past six years. After I joined campus, I was initiated into a group of the university's bad boys. We were the real deal in college and could even smoke pot before attending lessons. At first, I was afraid that it would damage my brain, and I would end up crazy, but the more I used it, the more I became self-aware of my actions and the surrounding environment. Weed is great, especially when you have sleep disorders, but there is a whole big deal when it comes to its disadvantages.

The effects won't be the same to all of because we are different, but, the fact remains the same; Marijuana is not suitable for your health. Weed will make your lips dry, and you will end up forgetting things and even experience slower coordination between your brain and heart. Even though the laws are shifting, the debate over legalised marijuana continues. Although some say marijuana is just as safe as, or even safer than alcohol, others argue that it causes a lot more harm than just a severe buzz.

So let's dig straight up into some of the severe effects of Smoking Weed.

  • Weed will destroy your Ambitions.

Smoking weed one time tends to make a person feel “hazed” or “baked,” and the high associated with it is typically described as being relaxing, rather than stimulating. People who consume marijuana regularly, naturally experience these sensations far more often, and with prolonged usage, most pot smokers end up failing to pursue their life goals. Imagine smoking weed every day and the relaxation that it comes with. You will end up relaxing for 8 hours and fail to be productive.

  • Weed Retards Your Development

Studies have demonstrated that people who begin engaging in heavy weed consumption during their teenage years tend to reach adulthood with lower levels of IQ than their peers. This has to do with the fact that the brain has not finished maturing until the mid-20s, and using a mind-altering substance such as weed can impair its growth and development. Imagine at 35 with a retarded mind that can't even think independently?

  • Marijuana Changes Your Personality

Regular consumption of marijuana tends to deplete the body’s stores of vital nutrients, thereby making one feel edgier without the drug. Cannabis is also notorious for causing users to suffer from conditions such as paranoia and anxiety, particularly with the high potency weed that is on the market today.

Some of this anxiety is practical since you never know if the knock at the door might be a police officer who could arrest you for drug possession, while some of it is purely physiological given the ways that the drug affects the brain. Furthermore, the lack of motivation and fuzzy-headedness displayed by many marijuana users often represent significant alterations in the person’s behaviour.

The bottom line is that pot smokers often undergo personality changes, and they are usually not for the better.

  • Addiction!

After three years of intensive Marijuana smoking, I realised you could be addicted to pot. The more you consume it, the more you become more addicted. Although Marijuana is not addictive like other drugs like Heroin, it might reach a point where turning back is not natural. Studies show that one in every six pot smokers get addicted to the illegal drug. The question is, are you the one out of the six?

Marijuana has adverse effects to the brain but you can stop. Remember, one roll of Marijuana kills one brain cell. How many brain cells have you killed so far?

You can stop using Marijuana today. Find another habit to replace marijuana smoking.
