Let's get our stand clear!

For years after years, we have been so vocal about abortion. We would stone the very first person who would say “abortion is not right but…” It is very illegal here unless it is medically necessary. I agree it is wrong; morally, spiritually, legally and ‘cherutoally’. Now that that is established, can we talk about what leads to abortion?

Sex. Premarital sex to be precise. I mean by the time I think that my pregnancy is a screw-up, I am not supposed to have it in the first place. The paradox of this whole statement is absurd and very clear. Let’s look at the government for instance, they are willing to facilitate the same act that leads to what they condemn. There are free condoms dispensed, for sure, contraceptives and emergency pills are subsidized they are literally giving free shots to prevent pregnancies. Well, they will claim that the emergency pills are to take care of the rape victims. I would trust them better if they demanded an OB number for every purchase.

The society too. They’ll turn a blind eye for open premarital sex and call it “growing up” will use every opportunity to stone you for an abortion. The society has taught us stuff like using rubber, pulling out, pills, safe days name them. They do not give room for what will happen if all the options fail.

Here's my two cents, if we are condemning the results, then we should strongly condemn the process too. Deal with the problems from the roots when we complain about the bitter fruits. Abortion is wrong and we are so strongly condemning it, premarital sex is equally wrong and it is sheer hypocrisy to facilitate it. So how about we try and abstain if we cannot legalize abortion.
